I finished up another commissioned quilt last night and love how it turned out. I used twelve Kona pinks for this quilt (all found in the Pretty Peonies Fat Quarter Bundle) and then Moda Grunge in Raspberry for the backing. This quilt actually has an embroidered badge in one of the white cross blocks but it had to be removed from the photos prior to posting, and that is why I chose a black and grey Flea Market Fancy fabric for the binding. It helped add some grey and black to the quilt, so the badge wasn’t the only thing in that color scheme.
Quilt Stats:
Final Size | 33.5″ x 45″
Fabrics Used | Various Kona Pinks, Moda Grunge in Raspberry for the back, Flea Market Fancy Eyelet in Grey and Pink for binding.
Thread | Aurifil 50 wt. in 2024 for piecing, Aurifil 40 wt. in 2425 and 2530 for quilting.
Batting | Warm and Natural 100% Cotton
